Collagen is natural protein that supports the skin. Collagen used for injection comes in two forms one form is made from human collagen, while the other form is made from animal collagen. If you are receiving animal collagen you may need to be tested for allergies prior to being injected.
Collagen injections are done just under the skin, can be done in the office, and require no recovery time. The results usually last two to four months.
